Htpc0 5 Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 What kind of compatibility will MBT have with WMC remotes? e.g. if I press the "info" button, will I be able to bring up the OSD? One thing I really dislike about Plex is that the integration with remote is minimum. You have to map everything yourself, which is an incredible chore.

Lee 212 Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 on w8 i have the green button mapped to Start. That way you can navigate the metro tiles and launch whatever you want... That would be easy to do for MBT.... I do it now with MBC if i want to go straight there!

Syztemlord 7 Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Check out CommandFusion. Great free app for Apple or Android. You can make a custom remote fairly quickly. I did mine last weekend and love it. Now I control everything from my tablet, MC, Sky, Amp!

Steven 158 Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 It works perfectly fine using a WMC Remote, it is just small details like the info button opening the OSD instead of the * key and a big wish from me is to somehow integrate the option to map the green button to open MBT. Maybe it could be done by making a change to the registry? I'm finding, especially with the kids, they are so used to just hitting the green button that they aren't using MBT but instead using WMC and MBC due to this.

Can you upload your settings please if you don't mind, thanks. I also looked at editing the registry, but still unsure where to make the changes.
