AMShearingaid 1 Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 I have 1 Sony 65 inch and one Sony 75 inch TVs. both have the same Emby app 4.6.4.0, version 2.0.09g registered. the 75 inch has no issue finding the local Emby server and when we try to log in, it shows the local accounts allowed, namely mine and my wife's. The identical 65ich counterpart unit, used to work the same way, but all of a sudden now can not find the local server and when typing in the server Ip address, does not allow me to proceed in any way. as if it is stuck and is not seeing the local network. can someone please guide me to a resolution. Please keep in mind that I am still a newcomer.
Carlo 4560 Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 Hi, How are these connected to your network? From a PC are you able to ping the IP of both TVs?
AMShearingaid 1 Posted July 12, 2021 Author Posted July 12, 2021 Thank you for asking me if I can ping the TV. I found out that the TV was not reachable. I switched to wifi, and it works not. I will research why this happened and can it be fixed. 1
