I dowloaded the .zip from the first page (SmartPlaylist-2.5.0.4810.zip) and put the SmartPlaylist.dll onto the C:\Users\rolapinou\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\plugins folder and restarted Emby server on the same PC (running Win11). The pluging appears on the side bar but when I click it I have 3 green dots running for ever ... Thanks for the help !

Try and see if you can get some one to upload the old DLL. I'm not the developer/maintainer of the plugin so deleted the dll on my system when i was done.

This version works well for me. As Yocker has already said I am now also saying it... Please don't take this the wrong way as it might sound like a rant, i'm just trying to clarify something! This is not my plugin, i am NOT maintaining this plugin and i have no plans for doing it either. Writing to me about any problems with the plugin will be in vain and ignored. Any code i had was also misplaced some where (possibly doing a machine migration) so even if i wanted to i have no way of maintaining it without fixing it all over again. rbjtech 5284 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I think its rather telling that it needs community volunteers to maintain an emby plugin previously written by a community member to fill the void for a fundamental feature request raised over 10 years ago. The FR is STILL the #1 item on the list by reaction. I really have no idea what is taking them so long to produce these Smart Playlists/Views. Even if a minimal viable product/framework is released in Beta - then the volunteers can build on that - rather than waste their time keeping a 'stop gap' operational. 2
