DixiBoy 0 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 The film ticks in sounds and image when I use under subtitles on all films. Without subtitles, they run as they should. Why ? It's something that's starting to come. I have a Synolygy 920+ with DMS 7.0
Carlo 4561 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Hi, Does this happen on only a specific movie or does it happen to all films? Does it only happen with one specific sub type?
DixiBoy 0 Posted July 11, 2021 Author Posted July 11, 2021 It happens mostly when I have to send it to a Chromecast not all movies but eventually a lot of them. The film is in mkv with built-in subtitles. and mp4 with built-in subtitles.
DixiBoy 0 Posted July 12, 2021 Author Posted July 12, 2021 Yes they are cast via a tablet, to a Chromecast
Carlo 4561 Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 What types of subtitles are used in these files?
DixiBoy 0 Posted July 12, 2021 Author Posted July 12, 2021 I use MakeMKV to rip movies and there they are built into the movie
Carlo 4561 Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 But what type of sub are they? Can you show the media info section of this media files that was casted? Bottom of the media file's detail screen.
Luke 42077 Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 Also please attach the emby server and ffmpeg log files from when you tried to play. Thanks.
DixiBoy 0 Posted July 13, 2021 Author Posted July 13, 2021 Here is one of the movies that does not work anymore but has works on earlier versions of emby ffmpeg-transcode-b3ef1e9a-f36a-4825-b996-1319a86a4336_1.txt embyserver.txt ffmpeg-transcode-47df6e71-3646-4569-ae72-33d0dd368370_1.txt
DixiBoy 0 Posted July 14, 2021 Author Posted July 14, 2021 The movie is one ripped with MakeMKV from a Blu-ray. if that's what you meant
Carlo 4561 Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 When using the PGSSUB your NAS configuration is not able to process this in hardware and reverts to software transcoding. >>>>>> Processing Plan Info Name CanDoInHardware WillDoInHardware Reason Info VAAPI GeminiLake UHD Graphics 600 - M... >> True True Hardware Codec Info VideoInput >> True False Same adapter (/dev/dri/renderD128), s... DixiBoy 0 Posted July 19, 2021 Author Posted July 19, 2021 Yes Maybe I can see that plex does not have the same problems as emby with playing. So a shift is needed.
Carlo 4561 Posted July 19, 2021 Posted July 19, 2021 OK try this. Go to transcoding menu and set the top option to Advanced. Now you will get a list of all Decoders and Encoders. Try unselecting VAAPI and use only the QuickSync options so it will look like this. same for other decoders Click SAVE at the bottom of the page and try again. Let us know if this works better for you.
