The songs show both artists, individually. It's just the albums that don't. I'm very appreciative of the help. I think the explanation is probably just technical, and I don't have a firm understanding of how the database actually works. To me it is self explanatory as they are not tagged the same so you can not get the same results. But this is what I did and get. But yes you would have to modify the results give by any tagging software. As it does not provide the way Emby is reading the tags. 1
nmkaufman 50 Posted July 14, 2021 Author Posted July 14, 2021 (edited) I revisited the old forum post I linked to, and ginjaninja's picard script is really good. I made a slight alteration to their script (they were creating a brand new field called 'artists') "$setmulti(albumartist,%_albumartists%)" will convert albumartist to the 'artist1; artist2' style, no matter how it's formatted on musicbrainz. "$setmulti(artist,%artists%)" will do the same, for the artist field. You could probably combine these into a single script, but I'm going to quit while I'm ahead. Edited July 14, 2021 by nmkaufman 2
