Hello Eigeplackter...

You are the first to ask for a filter on audio codecs.  Tomorrow, I will look into adding this filter.

For the moment I am frozen out of Swagger so I can't look at the Emby API anymore.  It's the CORS problem.  I can't get an https certificate because my ISP blocks port 80 and 443. I am running on Synology and require these ports to validate that I control my domain name.

@VicMoore Have tried browser flags?

Shioku, the "has Tags" is fixed. Thanks for pointing out that it was not working.

AlessioP, I added the ratings you provided. Please check them out to see if it's correct.

Good morning Happy2Play...

It's always nice to hear from you.  I have not tried out Browser flags. I didn't even know they existed.  How would I use them?

Hello Andy...

Thank you for the kind words.  Yes, it is possible to import bulk meta data.  The problem at the moment is that it's a big job and I don't have the time to do it. Perhaps later in the year I can revisit your request.  In the meantime, I would like to better understand what you want.  If you have time, please tell me how you would like to add bulk meta data and what kind of data do you have in mind.

Vic

Hi Vic,

I've attached an excel file with example of data to upload - (field names may not be 100% accurate - but you'll get my drift).....

The option exempts the address you add per the image so CORS will not affect that link allowing Swagger to work in that browser.  Not requiring a HTTPS connection.

Even though there should be content:

Thanks Eigeplackter for testing the audio codec filter. I will look into why you are not getting any results ASAP.  I don't actually do the filtering. It's done within the Emby server.  I must be passing it the wrong information.

No sorry to report, no change in beaviour for me.

Tried DTS and DTSHD and DTSHD-MA, cuz that's in the actual filename:

Additionally the letter index on the right is not working for me, whichever letter I choose, I land at B

What is the name of the audio codec given in Emby?

DTS is the output emby is showing me for that file.

imho we could go for embedded track or title, would just like to tag all with a correct audio tag, as emby only seems to recognize the codec as DTS Even though there is DTS,DTS-EX,DTS-X,DTSHD-MA,…

Eigeplackter, I added video codec and audio codec to the editor panel for easy reference, so you can see what Emby thinks the codecs are. This should help debugging.

Can I just say a big thank you - the ability to bulk edit tags is just what I was after to help manage available content for our grand kids - awesome job !

Yeah so the output in editor says:

image.png.4fb188098f24063db30b4fabb17c6421.png

But no matter which info I add in the codec field:

UHD HDR10 Remux

GERMAN DTS-HD MA 5.1

GERMAN DTS-HD MA 5.1 (Default)

German DTS 5.1

DTS

Result is still 0 Movies after applying the filter.

I'm regulary using latest Chrome as browser but tried Edge as well.

PS: Does it have to match exactly, or should searching for "DTS" be sufficient to get all entries, no matter if DTS-HD or else.

Good morning Eigeplackter,  I will dig into the code today and try to figure out why it works for me but not you.  Do you have a very short video you can send me to test?
