I have been trying to finish creating playlists from selected items. I am also working on a few LiveTV/IPTV things. I appreciate you checking up on my progress. Most of my time this Xmas was taken up by a bad reaction to the Covid Boster shot. I know now why so many people don't want to take it. Vic 2

Here's my use case: I have songs with [Explicit] in the title of the song. I'd like to tag these so I can filter them out of my kids view. It seems the filter is only to filter on tags. Is that right or am I just doing something wrong?

Here's my filter: And here is an example of a song with explicit in the filename and Title tag.

Happy2Play 9780 Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Quick test on this I could only get Search string [Explicit] to work at Artist folder not Music folder. So there appears to be a limit on the String search. @VicMoore

When the search runs is it going to search all the songs and bring back a list of songs with explicit in the Title? That's what I'm looking for so I can tag only the songs that are explicit, not full albums. And a select all once the search is returned would be good too if possible.

VicMoore 754 Posted January 1, 2022 Author Posted January 1, 2022 (edited) I improved the GUI and added Playlist. You can now select media and add it to a new or existing Playlist. I have not done much testing, so proceed carefully. For some reason the API for removing items from a playlist is not working. I have opened a question about this on the API forum. That URL has Recursive set. I will check again to make sure that I am not doing anything wrong with the API. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Vic

Vic No problem, thank you so much @VicMoore! So when I go to my Music in the tool, I see a list of all my albums. I click filter so I can do a keyword search on Explicit which I have in the filename of each Explicit song as well as in the Title. When I click on "Apply Filters" I get no results. It just says No Tags found even though I wasn't looking for tags, I was looking for a string of text within the Title or the song's filename. What I'd like it to do is pull back all the individual songs that have explicit in the filename or Title so I can select all those songs and apply an Explicit tag.

From library level filter it has "Filters=IsFolder" and from Artist it does not. music library query Quote http://localhost:8097/emby/Users/{userid}/Items?Recursive=true&ParentId={parentid}&Fields=Genres,ParentId,Tags&Filters=IsFolder&Recursive=true&SearchTerm=[Explicit] query within Artist folder Quote http://localhost:8097/emby/Users/{userid}/Items?Recursive=true&ParentId={parentid}&Fields=Genres,Overview,Tags&Recursive=true&SearchTerm=[Explicit] So from library you have apply "is not folder" filter also to get what you want. 1
