Hey, hoping that someone can help me find a way around having my background images for movies/tv shows to show them correctly.

i currently have all images at 1080p 1920x1080 and when i click on a movie say... the background image is perfect but when in tv mode horizontal the main screen shows the image but doesnt fit i have had a play around and managed to get the main screen image to fit but then in doing this the background image doesnt fit?

As you can see here the image doesnt seem to fit correctly but in the image below you can see that it fits perfect in the movie background itself . image res is 1920x1080 in both photos

when i was playing around to try and get both images to work i ended up managing to get the front display image to work but then the main background image would fit properly

The image above is at 1612x612 and managed to get it to reverse but not to fit in both.

when going through all of this i have also tested if its just happening on one type of device or all,

Emby Theater : Works fully with both images matching at anysize (size used 1920x1080)

Xbox One : having this problem

Web : having this problem

IOS : having this problem

Smart 4k TV: having this problem

if anyone can help me understand or help me fix this i would really appreciate it

Hi, the spotlight is a wider aspect ratio than 16:9 so it may not always be a perfect fit for every single image.

would this be able to be fixed then for feature ?

We're displaying it wider than 16:9 to try and make it large and fun. I realize it may not work well for every single image out there.

i can understand making it large but why not keep to the same ratio, doesnt make sense to be honest
