kazolarYG 0 Posted July 7, 2021 Posted July 7, 2021 I setup Zidoo 9X to run emby as I have a lot of 3D content. Most movies which I have in 3D I also have in 4K or regular BD. I set them up as Tile(year) - Theatrical.mkv, and Title(year) - 3D.mcv.mkv i.e Folder Terminator Genisys(2015) -- Terminator Genisys(2015) - 3D.mvc.mkv -- Terminator Genisys(2015) -Theatrical.mkv this shows up as a drop down in emby -- which version to select, but in the emby theater version on Zidoo, it plays the same file no matter what I pick. I could move the 3D version into an extras folder, but this looks like something that should be working.
ebr 16184 Posted July 7, 2021 Posted July 7, 2021 Hi. Can we please look at an example? Also, exactly which app are you running?
kazolarYG 0 Posted July 7, 2021 Author Posted July 7, 2021 That's the example. Here is a sample log from emby server: It shows the drop down for which version of the movie to watch, but picks the same one no matter what. I also tried it with a non-3D variant. I have one that is named Toy Story 3 - Theatrical.mkv Toy Story 3 - Commentary.mkv and no matter what I select in the drop down, it picks the the Commentary version. The drop down works fine on fire cube, and windows Emby Theater, but is ignored on the Zidoo version (one that I installed from the Play store) 2021-07-06 20:29:19.263 Info Server: http/1.1 GET http://10.1.1.150:8096/emby/videos/13880/stream.mkv?DeviceId=2b88ffe736baca74&MediaSourceId=68836acf5ec50b96ec912121965b41c3&Static=true&PlaySessionId=86f834eea686466da8cfebde2f1c15bc. Luke 42078 Posted July 7, 2021 Posted July 7, 2021 Hi, how do you play on Zidoo, is that with our android app, or using plain dlna?
kazolarYG 0 Posted July 7, 2021 Author Posted July 7, 2021 (edited) @luke yes, with the Emby app from the google play store, it says in the logs it used. "Playback stopped reported by app AndroidTv 2.0.09g playing Terminator Genisys" I have it set to use the external player (that's the entire point of getting the Zidoo box to be able to play 3D mcv streams natively) It works as on the Fire Cube for everything, actually better since it supports all audio formats a bit better than even VLC, just this one bug where it ignores which version of the movie to play Edited July 7, 2021 by kazolarYG

kazolarYG 0 Posted July 7, 2021 Author Posted July 7, 2021 (edited) OK, so I enabled beta on my GPlay account. I will test it with Zidoo when I get home, oddly enough multi-version feature works fine on FireCube (with external player set as well -- using VLC), is the app there newer?
