Pre roll meta data

So I started watching gremlins and happenstance was that a very 70’s pre roll started. There should be meta data options for pre rolls. Time period, movie genre, etc.

I suppose in theory we could make them visible in the metadata manager so that you could fill out information about them. That information could then be used to improve the decision making of what intros to use.

And/or add more file naming conventions for them to get the information from the file names.

Yeah, I assume there is some form of random number generated to choose the pre roll. It could be swapped for a data comparison. Pre roll says 80’s movie and the movie release is 1984…. Pre roll says horror, movie genre is the same…..  

 

of course I have no idea about how much work any of that would be.
