Alphabet scroll bar missing for music in latest emby versions?

i could swear the old alphabet scroll bar option was there (Windows/ios etc)  for music prior to the new verisons was this feature removed or do i need to go somewhere to turn it back on?

 

to refresh anyone's memory who doesn't know what i'm talking about it's the alphabet on the side where you can choose a letter and jump down to artists starting with that letter.   otherwise you have to scroll a lot

How is the list sorted?

i can sort by primary or list etc. but the alphabet scroll bar is no longer there

Is that the filter menu? Was there an alpha picker ever inside of the filter menu popup menu for Studio? Interesting... is that a thing Android TV or the web app is doing?

Update:  the issue was only on my iphone not the firetv or android tv

 

was able to fix by going to Sort by menu and changing from file name to Title

 

now the alphabet scroll bar appears

Right, currently this hasn't been added for file name sorting but it's planned for the future. thanks for the feedback.
