External access not working

Greetings,

I have Emby (4.6.4.0) running on a QNAP TVS-673e. Internally, it works great. I can access the server via my computers, iOS devices and ATV with no issues. BUT, zero success getting a connection away from home, including using Emby Connect. I've been messing with this for months, but I'm out of ideas. (btw, remote Plex connections worked fine on this QNAP device). Looking for suggestions.

Oh yes Luke, from many locations and many devices. No go - all I get is "Forbidden" if I get anything at all.

it sounds like you may need to configure port forwarding in your router. I would suggest checking out our Connection Troubleshooter:
