Windows Shift and ctrl keys stop working with emby!

After running Emby on my windows 10 PC I realize that my "Shift" and "ctrl" keys are no longer working on my keyboard.

The only way to get them back working is to close and restart the emby server. Then the keys will start working normally

again for few seconds (20 to 30 secs) and again they stop working. Shutting down the server dose not fix the problem.

I wonder if anyone else has faced this issue and if someone can help me solve this problem.

Hi, how exactly are you determining that the keys aren't working? What are you trying to do with them?

Simply when typing. Those key no longer work in any application.

For example ; When I use shift + 2 key to type @ it dose not work and I get 2 instead of @ as if I was not pressing the shift key

Hi, that's strange. I'm not seeing this in my testing though. What exactly are you closing and restarting?

Thanks for your reply. The only thing I start is the EmbyServer.exe file and then I close it.

I finally uninstalled my windows keyboard driver and let it re-install after reboot and things seem back to normal for now.

I will report back if this happen again.
