Lane03 14 Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 (edited) I apologize in advance, as I'm sure this has been covered before but I'm not having much luck reading the wiki and doing searches. In the past I had TV specials in a separate directory (named "Specials") and had it show up as a separate "season" in emby. It looks like there has been an update along the way that changed how this works, as my specials "season" is now empty even though the files are still in the directory. I've read the proper way to name them, but now they show up in seasons of which they aired and not in the separate "specials season" like before. Is it possible to have specials in their own "season" and not commingled? At first I thought simply unchecking "Display specials within seasons they aired in" from the library settings would accomplish this, but when I did that the specials are no longer shown in emby at all. Is that the intended behavior of that option? Edited July 1, 2021 by Lane03
Luke 42081 Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 HI, I would take a look at those episodes in the metadata editor and make sure they are assigned season 0. Please let us know if that helps. Thanks.

I set it as 0 and then also did a refresh of the metadata for the whole series - not sure if it was setting it as 0 or the refresh but it fixed the issue I was having. Thanks Luke!
