Update from 4.7.0.3. beta to 4.6.4.0?

Just noticed there is a new version out - 4.6.4.0, but I'm currently running 4.7.0.3 beta.

Is it safe to go from the current beta to 4.6.4.0? If not, how do  get the fixes?

Yes, for this set of release that is perfectly fine.  You could switch either way as they are basically the same version for all practical matters.
That would allow you to choose the RELEASE or BETA track.
