Hello All,

I live in an apartment where they provide internet, both lan and wifi. I am not permitted to have outside internet. Is there a way I can get remote access to work, say via a vpn, proxy, or using a access point or something>? any advice would be much appreciated.

any tutorials about How I can set that up ?

Not that I know of because each VPN provider is different.

But what you need is a fast VPN provider that will allow you to setup port forwarding and reverse a port.
If the VPN provider allows you to also get a static IP that's a plus.

It's likely going to matter what country you're in.

Try checking out this artcile

They are VPNs you can get a dedicated IP on.  Then you would need to make sure it's in your country (the server) and that they offer port forwarding.  For example PIA (on that list) does port forwarding but not for any US based server.  I think the Canada and Greenland servers have port forwarding.

Ideally you want both a static IP and port forwarding but of the 2 port forwarding is required while the static IP is nice to have and makes life easier.

Nice, to start with (if you haven't already) pickup a one month plan to make sure it does everything and has good speed.  If it works out fine then you can do a year renewal and if not then you can test a different VPN service.
