Is it safe not using Emby connect and just using my ip address and the emby port to let like 2 family members connect ?

Really do not like having to use an account for my Emby server that is all.

Curious if it is secure and safe to do this ?

Hi, yes it is. I would suggest setting up ssl and ensuring your users have passwords.
