Nostromo86 17 Posted June 27, 2021 Posted June 27, 2021 Hello, I use strm file, since update 4.6.3 i have to many lag on my nvidia shield, direct streaming, lag every 3 secondes. also, I don't understand why my movies are running in transcoding instead of direct stream since the update I dont have this problem before update. I want to downgrad, it is possible? Thank you
Carlo 4561 Posted June 27, 2021 Posted June 27, 2021 It's only possible if you have a full backup of the 4.5.4 setup. You can't install the older version over your 4.6.3 install because the databases and meta-directories are different now. What we can do however is try to figure out why you're having issues on 4.6.3 and help you get this fixed. What OS are you running Emby Server on?

My server running on windows 10 pro last update. I use this server since one year, i have this problem since one week And i use only strm files

Carlo 4561 Posted June 27, 2021 Posted June 27, 2021 OK so you're basically hosting your files in the cloud and creating your own strm file pointed to them? If you put one of these file local to the server do you have the same issue?

If you put one of these file local to the server do you have the same issue? yes, i try this tonight. on my nvidia shield, direct reading no longer starts automatically. I have to force it. and direct reading causes lags every 5 seconds. Here are some error logs thanks logs.txt
ebr 16195 Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 Hi. Remove the Smart Playlists and Discord notification plug-ins and see if you still have an issue.
