Are chars "[" and "]" reserved for some purpose?

Hi,

I have some videos with names in the format "Event[Date-People]". When I import the videos into MBS, only the Event names are kept, the content in "[" and "]" are not stored in MBS.

Is it because "[" and "]" are reserved and I cannot use them in file names?

I believe that anything inside square brackets is ignored. Kinda like a way for you to identify individual folders or items without it affecting the finished result.

That's correct. You can use soft braces instead though.
