Weird issue with iOS Emby app when on local internet where the Emby server is. Works fine remotely though. So Weird.

I add the server manually not through Emby Connect.

This is the error I get when I try to connect to the server locally.

 

 

Have not tried it on a Andriod phone yet the mobile app but if it works there then this is a non issue for me sense I really don't use Emby myself. It is mainly for my family. (Hope that is ok)

HI, this is actually an erroneous message and the true problem is that it is just unable to connect. We need to fix that message.

If you're running behind a VPN, try turning that off.

Do not run a VPN.

 

Somehow it fixed itself though I have no idea how.
