crusher11 1101 Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 (edited) I've got a movie that's in an Austronesian language, the ISO code for which is "map". With other languages Emby translates the ISO code to something useful; "en" becomes "English", "fr" becomes "French", etc. But in this case, it just says "Map", instead of saying "Austronesian". I've just noticed that "myn" is rendered as "Myn", as well, rather than "Mayan". Why aren't these translating into actual words? Edited June 17, 2021 by crusher11
Happy2Play 9781 Posted June 18, 2021 Posted June 18, 2021 I would assume it has not been translated or mapped as I doubt every language code has. But to be fair MediaInfo shows the same.
Luke 42079 Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 We don't have this language in our dictionary, that's why you're only getting the original language code. We'll have to add it.
crusher11 1101 Posted June 19, 2021 Author Posted June 19, 2021 That makes more sense than "dictionary", but would there not be a database of all of these that you could use? Why only have some?
