Rogfitz1 5 Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Emby server 4.6.2.0, (I have had this problem with earlier versions too, and the latest Beta) running on Windows 10 Pro x64. I have mapped a NAS-share to M: on the computer, and from time to time (days, sometimes weeks between) Emby looses the connection. I can't even find M: in Embys Library - Folders when this happens. M: always works on the computer so I don't understand what the problem is? I have added the UNC path to all my Libraries (under (Optional) Shared network folder) as well, but it doesn't help. The only thing I found helps is to restart the computer. Any ideas?
Solution Carlo 4561 Posted June 17, 2021 Solution Posted June 17, 2021 Hi, this to me sounds like a network/computer issue rather than an Emby issue. Have you tried just using the network path instead of the mapping? (put the optional shared network folder in up top)
Rogfitz1 5 Posted June 22, 2021 Author Posted June 22, 2021 Actually I haven't had any problem since I replaced library with UNC-paths, so it may have been the solution. Thanks for the tip!
