clarkss12 304 Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 I am sure I have gone through this before, please forgive me. The older I get, the dumber I get. I have "Latest Movies" AND "Latest Recorded Movies" on my main screen and I only want "Latest Movies".. Problem, I keep deleting "Latest Recorded Movies" and it keeps coming back. Both items show up on my main screen....... Same goes for TV shows, latest and recorded............ How do I get rid those "Latest *****" permanently.. They keep coming back.

There may be more for one of these options on one side, maybe mine, maybe yours, so this can be a dicey thing to navigate. Basically an option to put recorded items into main libraries Latest toggle on or off sort of thing would be best as I sure don't want to mix those libraries myself. As it is I have more than three different libraries for movies, more like maybe up to 7 right now. I don't like any of them mixing as they are separated for good reasons. My home screen is full of lines of Latest from ... and that makes it nice to see what is in Main Movies, Saved (recorded) Movies, Horror Movies, 4K Movies etc. one line after the other. I'm just a server owner/user though, so my opinion is if they want to allow combination it really needs to allow the opposite as well.

I think I had it working at one time, but now I can remove the library, but it keeps coming back. Not sure how it did it before........

You could of course record to the movies lib and TV show libs directly which would combine them.

I am not sure I understand that question..... But as Carlo says "These are separate libs so there is no present way to combine them." So, I guess I will have to live with two separate libraries, one recorded and the other ripped..... I have multiple physical drives that contain different recordings and rips...... The drives are scattered all over my network... I guess IF all my TV recordings were on the same drive, I could record TV shows to that drive, but alas, that is not the case......

I want them combined, recorded AND ripped, but guess that is not possible..... If that is the case, then I will remove the DVR path......

Luke 42080 Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 It shouldn't keep recreating it though, that's odd. Try removing them all for that folder, and then just continuing with the auto-generated one.
