How do you prevent Emby from picking up a movie or tv show too soon when copying over to the server ?

Basically what I mean where it picks up just the beginning of the copy of the movie or tv show and a family member goes to play it when it is not done yet copying.

Anyway to prevent this or not really ?

Well that is the drawback of Real time Monitoring, there is a 60 second timer you can adjust in your system.xml 

<LibraryMonitorDelay>60</LibraryMonitorDelay>

So your options are Disabling RTM on the library and be dependent on Library scans

or

adjust the RTM delay to extend the time before items are seen

Make sure to restart the server after changing the config file.
