bigcookie 12 Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 If you watch a movie and have to download a subtitle, often there is a required subset to make the playback with subtitle proper. The intention is now, that you setup the offset, but it will be kept per movie and downloaded subtitle (please note that new versions of a subtitlecould be downloaded). Expected function: Next time starting the same movie wiht the yame subtitle, the offset from last time is automatically applied. 7 2
rechigo 364 Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 This is how it should have been from the beginning, I'm not sure why this wasn't done in the first place. 1

EdBarnes 3 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 The problem with offline editors is that you need to get software (usually costs) then work each episode/show one at a time to find the offset then run the software against each. If the subtitles are embedded this is even harder. Much better to do it while a user is watching it then save vs major admin intervention. Task the viewer not the admin lol.

EdBarnes 3 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Interesting, I just assumed it was global. Sorry. Still a pain though to modify every subtitle file.
