Stop playing after episode

Just a simple button or option in the menu that stops play once the video is complete
I like to watch series and sometimes want to fall asleep to a tv show but often it will end up playing 5-10 episodes ahead and lose what episode I was on

Which client app are you referring to? 

Edit: Lemme rephrase that: uncheck "Play Next Episode Automatically"

- For Web App, it'll be under your User profile, Playback tab

- For AndroidTV app it'll be under Settings>Playback 

- For other apps I suppose it'll be similarly placed

There's also an option to enable "Still watching?" prompt, which might suit your needs, as well.

Sorry, I was referring to any player,  I like the auto playback, don't want to cripple that function.
 The "are you still watching" feature I have enabled but doesn't seem to do much

After a few episode it may/may not show a pop-up asking is you are still watching.  I've seen this 2, maybe 3 times with 46 days of watch time on my server, for my account alone.

Why is it so hard to understand what I am suggesting?

I want to be able to start an episode, lay down and have it stop once the episode is complete that way I don't loose my spot without it maybe asking if I am still watching.
This is suggest a feature is it not?
I am simply trying to suggest something not be told to do something that is not what I am looking for.

I think what n3m37h is asking for is a "momentary switch".  So he/she wants to keep both the "play next episode" function and "are you still watching" function active continuous but for a single use case wants to be able to throw an exception on-demand.  He's asking for a menu item to interrupt both of the above global settings once then revert back to normal global setting implementation once the momentary has activated and completed.  Is that what you're asking for n3m37h?

Maybe have it jump back to episode list when playback completes, or just go to next episode and pause playback
Hell just have the ability to enable/disable auto play during playback like you can in youtube

I have the same issue.

Would be really nice to be able to toggle auto-play mid-episode..
