Luke 42077 Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 HI, there is currently no way to do that. Perhaps in the future with smart views/playlists, but we'll see how that shakes out. 2
vdatanet 1617 Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 The ability to pin anything (genres, collections, playlists ...) to the home screen is very interesting. This is an example of Infuse connected to Emby with a playlist (Featured), the genre list (Por género) and the collection list (Colecciones) pinned to the home screen.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 So are you saying you want all content mixed per their genre?

Yes, in this example all movies from different libraries are grouped by genre (let's say a smart list of all movies grouped by genre). In a more general way, it would be cool to define a smart list and be able to pin it grouping by some criteria. Let's say, a playlist of all the films of the western genre, pinned to the home screen, grouped by decade.

Happy2Play 9780 Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 But genre would include TV and any other content type you may have. But yes from a smart playlist you could specify content type.

Example, "Lord of the Rings" belongs to the genre "Acción". I guess it chooses a random image of backdrop type of a random movie in the group.
