Shidapu 14 Posted June 9, 2021 Posted June 9, 2021 The Emby Music interface should be more like Spotify, with Metadata pulled for songs and scores from Spotify API if possible, otherwise from other good source. Nothing wrong in copying the interface from a really good contender. 1

The first screen showing you new songs available to you based on what you listen to, or popular songs others find good. Every song has 1-5 stars, depending on the users and their scoring. I could go on, but all in all, everything Spotify has done to their user interface is really good.

atomicmoon 152 Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 The only real difference between Emby and Spotify is the paint on the icons, and that Spotify curates tons of playlists. You can customize the genre icons with packs available in the forums here, under user submitted artwork. The playlists are probably up to you to create though. No other streaming service comes close to Spotify's playlist curation, so unless there's something else to the Spotify interface that I'm just not comprehending, I think you just want some artwork?
INITIATIVE 1 Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Is the request feasible or not? Plex made it possible, they have plexamp but the integration is for Tidal. I guess if the developer is really interested developing this kind of feature, plexamp is the closest benchmark?
