I'm using Emby Server 4.6.2 on a Win10 device(20H2). A NAS hosts the files. This setup has been working fine for years.

Emby has stopped scanning the libraries. The last successful scan was May 12th. I've restarted Emby, Win10, and the NAS. I've removed the library and re-added it but no files are showing up now.

I've tried removing the plugins as well.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, your log file is full of errors trying to access files on \\DLINK\Movies such as

Error determining LastAccessTimeUtc for \\DLINK\Movies\Coco - 2017\coco.2017.720p.bluray.x264-sparks.mkv
ystem.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Not a valid Win32 FileTime. (Parameter 'fileTime')

Is this a router with a USB drive plugged into it?
If so you may want to try restarting the router or device to see if that helps at all.

Thats the NAS. It's plugged into the Ethernet on router.

I've tried restarting the NAS and router. Also, I've tried to configure a Library in Emby using the IP address of the NAS. The same issue occurs. When creating a new Library, I can see all the folders/files on the NAS when clicking on the "+" symbol to add new folders. However, after the library is added the library scans do not pick up anything.

The log file is showing that it can't read the data properly the NAS is giving it.  For example the timestamps are invalid.  What does a "Coco" from above look like in Windows File Manager?

Attached a screenshot of CoCo from Windows Explorer.

Also, I just tried removing the NFO and JPG files from a different library. When I re-scan that library, nothing happens. Inside the Emby player, the thumbnail is gone which makes sense but I can still play the video fine.

You're screen shot top right shows the problem.  Notice there is no date info?

If it were me I would be trying to backup the data on this NAS in case a drive or the unit is failing.  You should likely try contacting Dlink support to see what they would recommend you do as well.

I ended up creating a new share on the NAS and building a new library on Emby.

For some reason, the existing share would not not scan any files in the library. This was after fixing the modification date issue.

But you're good now after creating the new share and using it?

Yes. All is well now. Thanks.
