Ubuntu Permissions - attempting to delete media from within emby

It looks like UID, ownership and permissions are handled for existing media though no ACLs. If you have multiple applications with different users creating media files and directories then I think the link below is what you need and the next step for you to be all set. You don't have to create a new group if the other users are already members of an existing one like ms or emby.

Awesome, that doesn't seem to complicated at all. 

Everything seems to be working with it as it is set up. I think your mention of the ACLs on the OMV really helped, also with changing the GID for the emby group/user to match. The ms uid may not match, but its part of the emby group, so I think it is getting permissions that way? Either way, everything seems to be working correctly, you've been a great help.
