Nazgulled 11 Posted June 7, 2021 Posted June 7, 2021 From all I've read, TrueHD is supposedly not supported on my OnePlus 7 Pro Android phone, but when I play a video file with a TrueHD 7.1 audio track with the Emby for Android app, it direct plays the file without issues. Why is this working? Is it actually working? Maybe it's picking the secondary AC3 track instead, but not reporting that? Not likely because the "stats for nerds" on the Android app mentions "Audio codec: TRUEHD". What am I missing here?
Nazgulled 11 Posted June 7, 2021 Author Posted June 7, 2021 Nothing wrong, I think, I just want to understand how is Emby for Android direct playing a TrueHD audio track since I believe my phone doesn't come with a TrueHD codec built-in.
