Now TV problem

Hi. New to Media Browser. Have installed the server on a Windows 7 laptop, added a media folder (mixed movie and tv) that resides on a Buffallo Linkstation and that seems fine.

Successfully installed the app on my Now TV box.

I can see all the stuff from my Linkstation on the Now TV box but can't get anything to play. Basically, nothing happens when I try to play anything I've selected.

I'm sure it's me and I'm missing something but any help would be appreciated.

what format are your movies in? also on the NowTV try turning the bitrate to the lowest setting. the server will be forced to transcode the file and it might play. 

 

a log of the failed attempt at playing would be handy
