Hello I'm having problems with scan failures, I restarted the server and the PC and it keeps crashing.

Please post the server log to show what the error is but more then likely is a locked database.

Please verify error and follow steps from the KB.

@Happy2Play I'm not sure what the OP is meaning by 'crashing', but Emby should be able to trap a locked DB scenario and not crash/lockup or whatever, right?  (Maybe there is more to the story yet to be revealed in this case.)  Would it be possible for Emby to notify the user of an errant DB lock?  (I'm assuming there are times it should be locked and Emby could distinguish.)

Technically it is as you will see the sqlerror in alerts on the dashboard.  But this is more about specific operations failing do to a locked database.
