Another "file not showing" docker issue

Hello,

I'm running a torrent client and and emby in a VPS, both in docker container.

I use the ~/Download folder of my VPS as a shared volume, so the downloaded movies can be reached by emby.

Here is my docker-compose.yml for emby:

```
---
version: "2.1"
services:
  emby:
    image: ghcr.io/linuxserver/emby
    container_name: emby
    environment:
      - PUID=1001
      - PGID=1001
      - TZ=Europe/London
    volumes:
      - /home/vps_user/Downloads:/data/tvshows
      - /home/vps_user/Downloads:/data/movies
    ports:
      - 8096:8096
      - 8920:8920 #optional
    restart: unless-stopped
```

Sadly, from emby only the folder inside `Downloads` are showing up, but not any files. (The facts that only folder are showing up might be a good clue for debugging )

I have made  `Download` own by the same guid and puid user ( 1001 ) with chown, and recursively gave all the permission to all the files in there.

For the moment I have a .jpg and a .mpk file in my Download folder, emby should be able  to recognize them right?

Is there a tests I can do to see if the permission are set correctly?

Did I missed some configuration with emby?

When accessing the container with `docker exec -it --user abc emby /bin/bash` ( abc is the user I created at emby setup ) I can see the files in the data folder, so I guess the permission are ok and the trouble come from emby. I have tried to install kobi and ran in the exam same issue.

Also tried with root user and puid 0 and got the same result

Two things. That's not the official Emby docker image so if you run into problems the support team might ask you to switch.

Your volume mappings don't look right to me. I think you would either want:

volumes:
      - /home/vps_user/Downloads:/data

OR:

volumes:
      - /home/vps_user/Downloads/tvshows:/data/tvshows
      - /home/vps_user/Downloads/movies:/data/movies

Thanks, I'll also try with the official one.

I changed the volumes mapping and it didn't fix the problem.

I fixed the bug:

Nothing was wrong with the permission.

I come from creating a "mixed content" librairy, I though that this type of librairy would show all kind of files, including video and images, but it doesn't.

After creating a "movies" librairy, it worked correctly and showed my video files.

Thanks Q-droid for the support!
