Music splitting artists, but can't search

I know that music is now tag driven, and that I have probably done something wrong here, but need some advice

I have the song 'All for Love' (https://musicbrainz.org/recording/ac484ef3-e1c8-4d11-bbfc-8e205bd53099) which is credited to Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart & Sting.

I have used Musicbrainz Picard to tag the song correctly, but when looking under album artists/Artists, it has created one entry for 'Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart & Sting (as if it is one musician/band). I have tried editing it so both fields show 'Bryan Adams / Rod Stewart / Sting', but after a library scan, it is still showing it as 1 artists.

The properties for the music files has 'Bryan Adams / Rod Stewart / Sting'

Also if I search for Rod Stewart or Sting, it does not mention this song, but searching for Bryan Adams shows the song

What was the solution? Did you tag it using ; to separate the names?

I think it was just me not fully understanding the difference between album artists and artists.

Will using ; at album artists level work? I did try / , with no luck

Album Artist should have a single value.  You can put multiple values in the Artist and Artists tags, though I only use the former.

The Album Artist value would depend on what album the track was ripped from.  For example, if it was the Three Musketeers soundtrack I'd put Original Soundtrack in that tag as that's how I group my soundtracks.  Others would put Various Artists as it's a compilation or Michael Kamen as that's what Picard shows for the album since he appears to have written all the other tracks.
