notla49285 48 Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 Not much explaining to do really, the times on my server (looking at recent activity) is an hour behind. I thought it was supposed to take the time from the host machine? Because the host machine is correct, but Emby is wrong.
Luke 42085 Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 Hi there, can you please go over an example? thanks.
Carlo 4561 Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 Have you checked your time settings in Windows and specifically the setting to adjust for daylight savings time?

Sorry for the delay, looking under Activity on the Emby Dashboard, I've just signed in (it's currently 16:31 UK time), please see attached "Emby Dashboard.jpg" The date and time settings are all correct on the host machine (I'm away from it at the moment) with the DST setting checked, please see attached "Windows Date & Time.jpg" Edited June 5, 2021 by notla49285 Pictures screwed, tried JPG
notla49285 48 Posted June 5, 2021 Author Posted June 5, 2021 Pictures WILL NOT upload properly so I can't show you, I only took screenshots (originally png) then tried converting to jpg but they appear broken.
Carlo 4561 Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 Without the pics if you are off 1 hour this is very likely the adjustment for daylight saving time. Try changing the current setting in the OS and force a time refresh from a time server and then see what you get.
justinrh 260 Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 @cayars He said the host machine has the correct time. So are you thinking that Emby using something from the OS other than the time the OS is showing?
Carlo 4561 Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 Yes what I'm thinking it could be is this: Typically when the time is off one hour, it's that setting right there. Of course, double check the time zone as well.
notla49285 48 Posted June 5, 2021 Author Posted June 5, 2021 Yes that's what I'm trying to show a picture of, the highlighted setting above for "Adjust for daylight saving time automatically" is also switched on in my PC settings. The time zone is GMT(+0) London, Dublin.
