Hi,

Switching from Plex and just bought premium on Emby.

I have a paid IPTV that's playing fine but I would like my local free to air channels included, it all works fine via TIVIMATE on my shield with these settings.

I've tried using RAW and KODI settings via https://www.matthuisman.nz/2017/07/new-updated-nz-iptv-files.html but every time I select one of the NZ channels I get the playback error message.

I tried searching the forums to see if I could find a similar issue but I cant, any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Brett

Did you configure a simultaneous stream limit on the m3u tuner?

No, I will try figure that out, action it and report back.

My problem is the same as yours. When I use this list :https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/languages/zho.m3u  to play, it prompts that there is no compatible stream. Server version: 4.7.0.2 Beta

Hope the next version can solve this problem!

What should my limit be?

That depends. Does your provider impose a limit? If not then just set it back to default.

The feeds website doesn’t state anything about setting a limit, I’ve never set a limit, in TIVIMATE I didn’t have to set a limit.

if I’ve never set a limit on emby, would it be on default by default?

Hi, try refreshing the guide data in emby server, then try again. If the issue persists, please attach another emby server log. thanks.

The links inside this m3u8 don't appear to be valid, not for me at least.

Hi, the url in your m3u is not valid because it is returning 404 not found. Does this answer your question?

Sorry it doesn’t, so Emby’s IPTV service is just not compatible with this type of m3u?

Is it something that I can request? It’s the most common list of channels I watch and would be nice to have it all in emby rather then having to switch over to TIVIMATE on my shield.

is it something that could be copied from TIVIMATE maybe? It seems to handle it well?

Hi, 404 error means it's an invalid URL so there is nothing Emby can do about that.

I don’t get it, how am I watching the same m3u URL right now on TIVIMATE app on my nvidia shield?

how come every other IPTV client plays the URL fine, just not EMBY?
