moviefan 187 Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 As the title says, I would like to see MediaBrowser to implement a tab in the LiveTV section of the web client that provides quick access to the channels selected as favorites. The channels I want to watch are usually the HD channels which for Comcast means they are numbered in the 700s and it takes a while to scroll to these with any of the current methods; especially when connecting remotely, and even more so with my phone. The Roku client has this built into its interface and I think it would be simple enough to implement? I do realize that the suggested tab often lists currently running programs on my favorite channels, but it doesn't list ALL of them and often it is missing the channel I want to watch. 13

This would be a very welcome addition and make it more user friendly. I would like to add the potential option of having Favorite Groupings that are already set up in Windows Media Center be available as Tabs in Live TV.
Kent 92 Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 HI, there is a workaround available on the web client under the Channels tab, where you can filter by favorite (or like or dislike). But yes, it would be good to have a distinct tab added for channel favorites.
moviefan 187 Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 (edited) Well, still no separate tab but I just noticed that when you click on the Channels tab now it lists all of the favorites at the very top before it lists other channels. Not sure when this was implemented but great idea! Definitely allows me to select my most used channels very quickly. Edited May 21, 2015 by moviefan
