WRabie 0 Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 I am recently noticing that some items downloaded show as partially viewed...like 7 min for example - when I havent watched it yet. Do I have a stalker :-)?? Some also just use a generic "filmstrip"image for movies downloaded and not the dvd cover image for eg. What am I doing wrong. Emby premiere with MiBox on tv and laptop

ebr 16199 Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Hi. Exactly what are these items? Are they properly identified in Emby? Emby tracks watch status by user and global ID (such as tmdb ID). So, if multiple items are mis-identifying as something else, then that could be a cause of incorrect watch data.

If, for example, you had multiple videos that all thought they were the same episode (according to their metadata) then you might see some unexpected watched status.
Carlo 4561 Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 That or possibly another person logging in as you could have partially watched them. Do you ever stay logged in on devices you aren't using any more and someone else could have used it? Do you have any plugins like Trakt installed?
WRabie 0 Posted June 2, 2021 Author Posted June 2, 2021 I can only see my own laptop logged in. No plugins. I should be able to see others if they are using my account.
Luke 42086 Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 It might be difficult to try and determine what happened in the past with existing videos, but when the status changes unexpectedly again on another video, please capture the emby server log from the time frame and attach it here. thanks. 1
