3D / UHD / SD movies in same menu

I have categories for movies (SD), UHD movies 3d movies and seasonal movies (like xmas and Easter). I keep them separate because I have TVs and devices with different capabilities.

If I go to 3d movies, I can see only 3d movies. If I go to UHD movies, I just see them. But if I go to my default movie section, I get every movie that I own all lumped together, even though my UHD, 3d and season movies are not in the assigned path for my default movies category.

Maybe this is a duplicate topic...I was not sure how to search based on the fact that it's so much to describe.

Hi there, how have you organized your movies and setup the libraries in Emby library setup?

So I started by selecting to add movies. I think the category was already named movies so I left it default. I added paths the 2 drives that contained movies. (I repeated the step for tv episodes). Emby updated metadata and everything was great. Months later I added 3d movies by selecting the movies category and added the path to the drive that contained 3d movies, and the same for 4K and Seasonal.

So here is the paths in emby:

Movies: Folders G:\ and H:\

3D Movies : Folder S:\3D Movies

4K Movies: Folder S:\4k

Seasonal Movies: S:\Christmas

So if I look at the category for 3D, 4K or Seasonal, I only see the movies I placed in those categories. But when I go into "Movies" category, even though the paths are just G: and H:, I see all movies that have been added in every category. So I see movies from G:, H:, S:\3D Movies, S:\4k and S:\Christmas.

Thank you, that looks good. Would you mind showing a screenshot of the incorrect content being displayed? Thanks.

I kinda feel stupid. I figured out the issue. A few months back I had a drive that started to fail so I shifted all my 3D/UHD/Christmas Movies into folders on drives that were already assigned to my "Movies" category. So Emby saw the new folders and recursively checked for movies in the child folders. I do apologize for being so stupid. But...I guess posting here still solved my issue. I simply created a new folder an plopped my SD movies in there and reassigned the path for "Movies"

I would like to take a moment to thank you folks for being here to help. It is greatly appreciated.
