look like this bug is gonna take a little more time.  I have it set up that if you have an NR title then you should have your Not Rated Video in the folder named - Default.(ext) - Case sensitive.  Capital D, everything else lower case.  That will work until I get this fix in.

The catalogue hasn't updated on my end yet. But I did populate the countdown bumper path and the trailer and feature presentation bumpers started to play. Hopefully that will give you a clue to that bug.

it should be instant.  But you have the same Version that is available in the catalogue. I haven't done the fix yet.

Your config interface looks old.  You need to clear your browser cache in order to allow the new config layout to load.  This is probably the reason why some things are not working.

It only plays the Default clip for the AU-R18+ classification. I'm guessing it doesn't read the + symbol properly?

it shouldn't matter, as long as your rating video is named the same as the rating in emby.

Oh hang on i think i have made some modifications since the last release to tighten up on that particular section,  and also adding in some new features and new layout, so this will be released soon.

Well, the PushBullet notifications when it scanned in the file for that and the AU-MA15+ rating were "AU-MA15 has been added to Emby Server" and "AU-R has been added to Emby Server" despite the filenames being AU-MA15+.mp4 and AU-R18+.mp4.

Given that it then used the Default.mp4 when I tried playing an R-rated movie, the + sign is the only explanation I can think of.

yup it looks like that would be the problem.  are all the aussie ratings with a "+" after them or can you get AU-MA15 & AU-MA15+

AU-G, AU-PG, AU-M, AU-MA15+, AU-R18+, AU-X18+, AU-RC.

MA, R, and X have legal age barriers and the others are just recommendations (except RC, which is just flat out illegal for everyone), thus the number being included in the rating name.

Ah, so having the Plus after the numbers is neither here nor there.  So you could rename the age rating intro vids to what emby is showing for you locale.

I think he's saying:

Emby is the one setting the ratings string with no '+'.

All you need to do is name your files to match the ratings string Emby is choosing (remove your '+'').

No it isn't. The ratings I listed above are the ratings as Emby uses them, which is why I named my files that way. I don't know where either of you got the impression it was anything else?

i only return the filename without extension, i don't modify it at all

so can you look in the log and search for vantage, it should say what the ratings are it found and which one it is choosing

The notifications I got from PushBullet when the AU-R18+.mp4 and AU-MA15+.mp4 files were scanned in said AU-R18 and AU-MA15 had been added to the server. The PushBullet notification stripped the +. Similarly, I've been adding a lot of the "WWE Best of Raw & SmackDown" sets and every time the notification says "WWE Best of Raw was added", truncating at the & symbol.

So my hypothesis is that Emby sees AU-R18+.mp4 as only AU-R.mp4 and therefore it doesn't match AU-R18+.

I will have a test with your rating system, it could be the old code which hasn't been tidied up and tightend on your version. I have done quite a bit on this specific area since the last release.  Just bear with me sir

i have an issue with only the R rated movies , 

vantage point cant seem to recognize it properly

can someone help please on how to fix this issue, all the other ratings are working fine,

but i think now the vids are not working after the update, 

i tried refreshing , tried other devices , install and reinstall 

tried to change the folder name and also setup a new one without being able to get it right.

am not sure where it went wrong

you should have an update on the server catalogue now.  that should fix it.  Version 1.0.0.2

Sorry for the late response @Cheesegeezer 

I haven't responded promptly so that i could test the latest update properly , 

thanks for the update the issue got resolved and i have tested the other bumpers features as well and they are all working fine.

 

looking forward for future updates with new features .
