I stopped the server, cleared the logs, started it up and ran a conversion on "The Gentlemen" which is 4K/TrueHD to Movies 4mbps. Carlo 4560 Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 Hi, your ffmpeg log file is showing an error 14:55:36.973 Could not write header for output file #0 (incorrect codec parameters ?): Invalid data found when processing input A dev will have to look into this to see if this type of conversion is supported on the Shield TV or if it appears to be a media issue.
UncleLeoTheDad 3 Posted June 4, 2021 Author Posted June 4, 2021 Sounds good. I have tried to convert a number of different titles, 4K, 1080p, etc. all of them fail in this way. If you need me to try any more and supply logs let me know!

I’m trying to move 100% to emby (I currently use both), but there are 2 gotchas that prevent me from going all in. This item and the lack of an iOS PIP capability. I know the latter is already on your feature enhancement radar. thanks!

It’s just when I try to convert them so I can play them remotely that they bomb. Plex doesn’t seem to have a problem with them. Not sure if the approach to conversion is the same or different there. This is a different error now: [mp4 @ 0x29cb991000] truehd in MP4 support is experimental, add '-strict -2' if you want to use it. What did you choose for audio for the conversion? It's probably pointless, though, you can just wait for the fix.
