Transcoding when not required

I am using the DLNA client in my LG WebOS TV to connect to Emby. When playing some files I am getting transcoding when that is not required. I have attached the embyserver.txt and ffmpeg logs to show the transcoding taking place.

The file in question can be played directly on the TV from a USB memory stick with no issues, so transcoding is definitely not required. How can I fix this?

Hi @endian675 our LG Dlna profile is based on older models, so you'd have to edit it to include hevc support so that this file can direct play. @cayars

We plan to make it more dynamic in future updates to try and detect support.

Hi @endian675 I'm going to be doing a write up on this shortly but would like to try and help you one on one via a remote support session if possible to get this working for you.

Would this be something you are able to do with us?
