4.6.1.0 - wrong episode order

Hello everybody,

after the update to the latest version, the order of the episodes is wrong for most of the series. '
The metadata all show the correct season and episode number.

I already performed a full library and metadata update, but did not change anything.

Any suggestions ?
Thanks in advanced.

Hi, is this only happening in the metadata manager?

Hi Luke,
no the "normal" media library view is also affected. It also doesn't matter whether access is via the browser or an Android app (mobile or shield)
If you want to play the next episode, the wrong order is also used.

Hi, try using the metadata editor to check and see if the episodes have season and episode numbers set in the metadata editor. Do they? Can you show a screenshot of that? Thanks.

Yes they have the correct episode and season numbers.

do these episodes have nfo files?

Maxx4live

Nope there are only the video files inside the season folder.

Can you try clicking save in the metadata editor for a few of those. Does it help?

Yes, it works.
As soon as I saved an episode (without actually changing anything) they are back in the correct order.
But it has to be done for each episode. (done it for hole season one)

@Maxx4live are you still having an issue with this? Have you updated to Emby Server 4.6.2 and run a library scan?

No I haven't updated yet. However, I was able to solve the problem by moving the series folder to a subdirectory and move it back to the original location afterwards.

Thanks for the feedback although I would suggest updating.
