Android Auto - Favorites folders are visible, but empty

I like that favorites have been added to Android Auto, but none of my favorites are showing up. Is this a known bug?

I tried the new app, but the favorites are still not populated. Recently Played and Frequently Played is wrong as well. It only shows music that was played using Android Auto. It isn't including music played on Android (and not through Android Auto) or through other clients. Lastly, Latest Music appears correct, but it only has 9 items.
