4.6.1 - Specials Order Broken

After upgrading to 4.6.0, I went through all of my episodes and verified they were placed in the correct spots in seasons.  I just noticed -- having upgraded to 4.6.1 a few days ago -- that things are now mixed up a bit.  Specials are still in the correct seasons, but they do not seem to be obeying the "Airs before episode" setting.  An example from Doctor Who.  The Special "Tardisode 1" should appear before episode 1 "New Earth." It used to, but now is listed after.

Strangely, some things do appear in the correct spot, anyway, like the first two specials preceding episode 1.  It seems to be very random.

EDIT: just to verify, I restored an image with 4.6.0 on it and the order was fine. Definitely a 4.6.1 bug.

This is because of the removal of the "airs after season" option, from memory. You used to fill out "airs before season" to put it at the start of the season, "airs after season" to put it at the end of the season, and "airs before season" and "airs before episode" to put it in the middle of a season.

So previously, "airs before season" with no episode specified put it at the start of the season. But that's now changed to make specifying an episode mandatory, as the option is now "airs during season". If no episode is specified, it puts it at the end.

So the only episodes affected are those which didn't specify an episode in "airs before episode".

No it's not. It's for a different reason.

Ah, I think I see.  It looks to be sorting alphabetically by episode name, rather than Specials by episode #, then regular episode last. That's why some are in the correct spot.

Have you tried a metadata refresh on the 'Specials' ? - that has fixed the issue for me as it appears to be now adding the value (10000) into the 'airs before episode' if it was blank (in the special only metadata)

No, this is nothing to do with the changes between 4.5.4 and 4.6.0. As you can see from 3rd screenshot above, the "Tardisode" special's metadata for placement in the season is filled out how I want, but sorts incorrectly in the 1st screenshot (after episode 1 instead of before). Seems to be an 4.6.1 issue (not sure on the 4.6.0.52 beta, as I did not test that).

Running 4.6.1, I'm having a problem on the continue watching list when there are multiple specials that air before a certain episode. Say I have 3 specials that air before episode 4. The first special shows up fine. But after it is watched, it skips the other 2 specials and goes to episode 4 instead. It is showing up fine in the season but the continue watching section does not show the 2 unwatched specials before episode4.

Hi, please try the 4.6.2 release once available for your platform. If you still have an issue after that then let's look at a specific example. thanks.
