Different Movie Versions - Different Plot Info

Hi all, I've had a look for a similar request and can't quite locate one. The wording of it may be completely different though, so apologies if it's been raised before. 

Basically, I'm using the " - ." method to add different versions of some of my favourite films. This method works wonderfully well, and keeps everything sorted and neat. I understand this feature was implemented to allow for different resolutions of the same film, and wasn't exactly intended for using different editions of said films. I'd love though, particularly given the additional versions I've added create their own nfo's, if the different versions of films showed their own (editable) plot data. 

I've some fan edits of films where I don't need to see the plot info, and would love instead if I could have them show the changes/edits instead. I've tried manually editing the nfo's for the edits, but emby will only pull the plot info from the default movie, and seems to ignore plot info from "- ." named movies.
