I read the FAQ and it discussed multiple resolutions of the same file type and how to name and organize them but what if you have multiple resolutions but one is a mp4 and the other is mkv?

I rip DVD's into mkv filetypes at a 1080p resolution and then re-encode them down to a mp4 at a 720p resolution to play remotely.

Is this even possible.

Thanks

that is fine. nowhere does it say they need to be the same file extension.

Just to be clear I have the movie setup as follows:

/Videos - MB
  /movie (2014)

    /movie (2014) - 1080p.mkv

    /movie (2014) - 720p.mp4

EDIT:

Nevermind, it is working now, before I did not have the spaces before and after the dash.

@@Ghostm can you give this a try if you have a minute? Thanks.

Does this still need to be attempted? I noticed he edited his post looks like he had the naming/spacing different. I can definitely try it though.
