jluna001 0 Posted May 25, 2021 Posted May 25, 2021 Remote access has stopped working for me after updating to 4.6.1.0 and I can't figure out how to fix it. Anyone have any idea why?
Carlo 4561 Posted May 25, 2021 Posted May 25, 2021 (edited) Hi, try following the steps in this article to verify your setup and look at the bottom section with possible things that could go wrong. https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44002137137-remote-setup I'd double check your WAN IP and Server IPs haven't changed as first steps if this was working before. VPN or updates to firewall/malware programs are also strong possibility and easy to test by turning them off for 15 minutes while you test. Let us know how you make out or if you still have an issue. AxeMan 25 Posted May 25, 2021 Posted May 25, 2021 my 0.02 - I noticed when running the update, Windows firewall asked about Emby server access - and I had to allow it. My setup is slightly different, and do not have it externally accessible - but just a thought - perhaps you saw and dismissed that pop-up?
