But I have tested with and not with media and don't get duplicate with any scanning or refreshing, but is on a NEW portable test install. Yes, I do. I just made this video. The first half shows me recreating the issue. Second half is doing the same thing with the same files, but with the workaround. https://youtu.be/rWzrOashE-s

But still cannot reproduce, as mine initially shows "Backdrop" then changes to "fanart.jpg". @LukeThis may be an area to look at. Import new item check images exited image editor and reentered or wait But "Download images in advance" enabled does not show "Backdrop" it shows "fanart.jpg immediately. Option available when you enable show advanced settings per library. It would appear as a timing issue to me. But not updating properly for Nashemon. You only have one backdrop/fanart in movie folder, correct? Only tested this in 4.6.7.0. Edited April 20, 2022 by Happy2Play
Luke 42078 Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Because it hadn't been downloaded yet, so there was no local file name to display at the time. We should probably just stop showing the file name there.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Also note @Nashemonvideo is showing a library scan on going when library is created and then performing another library scan before entering library so there is a queued scan while looking at images, then refreshing search for missing is clicked. So we don't know where all of the processes are when this duplication happened.

Since it's been a few hours, this is the what they look like. 2 hours ago, Happy2Play said: But "Download images in advance" enabled does not show "Backdrop" it shows "fanart.jpg immediately. Option available when you enable show advanced settings per library. I tried creating a new library with "Download images in advance" enabled. And...it looks good! I cannot replicate the issue one way or the other with that enabled. The one and only backdrop that it creates is fanart.jpg. 2 hours ago, Happy2Play said: Also note @Nashemonvideo is showing a library scan on going when library is created and then performing another library scan before entering library so there is a queued scan while looking at images, then refreshing search for missing is clicked. So we don't know where all of the processes are when this duplication happened. I'm 95% sure that just happens when I add or remove a library. I had just removed the test libraries before I started the video. It goes away in about a minute or two. Believe me, I've run my testing while this was not occurring. Just happened to be when I was recording. I just tested again after waiting for the scan to complete, one test with "Download images in advance" enabled, one without, and not forcing the refresh. The one without duplicated the Backdrop after 20ish minutes. I'm confident that enabling "Download images in advance" has resolved the issue for me. Thank you both, very much!
